Begin with a workflow, not a feature list
Identify the decision your team needs to make and the records it depends on. A rollout review and a fault response both use geographic information, but they need different outputs and operating steps.
Follow one route through the demonstration
Ask how field capture becomes the map record, how measurement documents are produced, how execution is reconciled and how installation records reach operations. Look for continuity of identifiers and context at each handoff.
Review the outputs your team uses
Open a representative map export, measurement document or handover record. Check how it relates to the source data and what the receiving team needs to do next. A visually impressive dashboard is not a substitute for usable outputs.
Make integration boundaries explicit
List service, workforce and staff systems that need to remain connected. Agree the records exchanged, update ownership and exceptions. Named integration support should be demonstrated rather than inferred from a general integration label.
Ask about the working conditions
Confirm devices, offline requirements, data imports, coordinate systems, hosting, permissions and retention. Separate supplied product capabilities from requirements that still need a demonstration or a scoped delivery commitment.
Assess experience with its context
Mapped kilometres, installed fibre and commissioned network length describe different measures. Ask for delivery role, scope, reporting period and supporting records when reviewing project claims.
Start with Lumacorp’s platform overview or book a workflow-specific demo to discuss the records and handoffs that matter to your project.
